Spiced Cranberry and Orange Scones

Servings: approx. 12 scones


Spiced scones with fresh orange flavour and yummy cranberries. Have them on their own or with some fresh strawberry jam.



  • 4 cups Self Raising Flour
  • 75 g Soft Butter
  • 3 tsp Billies Sugared Spice 
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Dried Cranberries 
  • 1 1/3 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cup Orange Juice
  • 1/3 cup Yoghurt


  • In a large mixing bowl, combine self raising flour, salt and soft butter, mix to a crumb.
  • Add dried cranberries, Billies Sugared Spice and orange rind.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the orange juice, yoghurt and milk.
  • Fold wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Be careful to not over mix.
  • Turn dough out onto a floured surface and flatten. Cut into shapes and place onto tray.
  • Bake @ 200ºC for about 10-12 mins. Remove from the oven and transfer to a rack to cool.
  • Dust with Icing Sugar and serve with fresh cream.
